and if don't have time or pleasure to prepare a classic dough, this recipe will be very helpfull.
these mini-pizzas look like the italian "bruschetta", the only difference is that bruschetta are smaller and represent just the entrée .
the total time to perform these mini-pizzas is 7 minutes, 2 minutes for preparing, 5 minutes in the oven.
simple, rapid and tastefull, the baguette mini-pizza is a great solution for a gourmand snack or dinner.
ingredients:
- a day-old baguette ( especially good is whole wheat and olives baguette)
-mozzarella
-tomato purée (tomato mashed into a fine, consistent paste)
-prosciutto cotto
-a sprinkle of good olive oil
- dried or fresh oregano

cut baguette into 2 and then cut each half lengthwise. brush with olive oil each quarter. then add a layer of tomato paste. sprinkle mozzarella and prosciutto all over. finally, a little oregano on top and put the tray in the hot oven at 200 celsius degrees.

ready within 5 minutes (just when mozzarella is melted).

serve hot, sprinkled with a little olive oil flavor (if you really like olive oil). you can use aromatic olive oil (hot chilli, rozmarin, garlic, oregano olive oil), for an interesting flavour.

good appetite!
