There are several secrets for cooking a delicious rice which isn't sticky. Read on and you'll find them.
- one cup of basmati rice
- one pepper
- 300 gr of fresh mushrooms
- one carrot
- 2 green onions
- one parsley
- one spoon of hot pepper paste (optional)
- olive oil
- salt, pepper, paprika
Chop the onion, garlic, carrot and anneal them in some olive oil.
Add the chopped mushrooms and pepper. Spread salt and pepper over the vegetables.
When the vegetables are annealed, add the well-washed rice. If you want the mix to be spicy, add the hot pepper paste.
Pour hot, boiled water over the rice. Just enough to slightly cover it. Continue to boil without mixing for about 10-15 minutes (check the boiling instructions from the rice box packaging). If needed, add some water along the way. Ideally, prepare the rice in special recipients which will prevent it from sticking (wok-type).
When the rice is almost ready (the rice seeds are still whole and a bit hard), stop the fire and cover the rice with a lid. Let it there for about 10 minutes. The rice will swell due to the steam, will remain whole and will not stick.
In the end, spread a lot of fresh chopped parsley and sever.
